When Jade stepped onto the colorful streets of Roosevelt Row for her senior portrait session, her vibrant, rock-n-roll personality instantly came alive. With her carefully curated outfits and an infectious enthusiasm, she transformed the urban canvas into her own personal stage.

Jade wore a tank and vintage jeans, Doc Martin’s and an edgy skirt, and a poet style flare blouse perfectly capturing her bold, free-spirited style. Each pose was confident with a modeling flair as she incorporated movement & expression that simply couldn't be taught. Whether striking a candid laughing shot or nailing a cool, pensive stare, Jade owned every frame.

Of course, no senior portrait session would be complete without that magical golden hour dress. Jade had planned an orange ribbed maxi dress with a split for this moment when the warm, glowing light hit her just before sunset. We even found some fantastic shadows in a parking garage to play with! When Jade’s vision became a reality, the results were simply breathtaking.

Throughout our time together, I couldn't help but be impressed by Jade. Not only was she a talented member of the Mountain Ridge High marching band, but she also immersed herself in numerous other activities, building a diverse skill set that will undoubtedly serve her well in the future.

Speaking of the future, Jade has her sights set on becoming a Sun Devil at Arizona State University next year. With her driven spirit and ability to shine in any spotlight, I have no doubt she'll thrive on campus and continue to chase her dreams with unwavering determination.

As a photographer, there's nothing more rewarding than capturing the authenticity of a young person's spirit during this pivotal transition from high school to college. Jade's senior portraits are a powerful reminder of the incredible journey she's been on and the remarkable adventures that lie ahead.

So, to all the high school juniors and seniors out there, let Jade's vibrant personality be your inspiration. Don't be afraid to showcase who you truly are through your outfit choices and personal flair. Anjeanette photographs fleeting life adventures: Senior portraits, professional head shots, families and children. She gives back to her community back as a volunteer children & family photographer for schools, band, non-profit organizations, and church. When she’s not awkwardly writing about herself in the third person, she is praying, painting, reading, and exploring the world with her husband and children and her trusty National Parks Passport.
